Cooperation on Litter Picking

On 16th October, there was a very successful combined litter pick between the Town Council and Dartmoor National Park, clearing litter from all the paths to Trinity church, as well as pruning along the pathways where the trees and bushes were causing a slight issue to walkers. 3 to 4 bags of litter were picked up, mainly cans and plastic bottles. Tea and biscuits were supplied by the Town Council, and doughnuts and cakes were supplied by DNP. Many thanks to Emma Blackmore and Huw Cox for volunteering along with the DNP volunteers. There will be another day maintaining and clearing the steps to Trinity. Look out for a post on the Facebook Buckfastleigh Rangers page for further information.
