DESCRIPTION:NOTICE OF PARISH MEETING \nParish of Buckfastleigh \nNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Schedule 12\, part 3 of the Local Government Act 1972 that a Parish Meeting will be held in the Main Hall of Buckfastleigh Town Hall\, Bossell Road\, Buckfastleigh on \nWednesday 28th September 2022 at 7.00p \n             Councillor Sue Clarke\, Chair of Buckfastleigh Town Council \nDated: 8th September 2022 \nPlease note that this Parish Meeting is open to all\, but only registered electors for the Parish of Buckfastleigh are permitted to speak/vote at the meeting. Members of the public who are not registered electors for the parish may speak only at the discretion of the meeting. \n AGENDA \n\nApologies for Absence. To receive apologies from Councillors unable to attend.\n\n\nTo receive a proposal from a representative of the electorate at the meeting for a poll to be called with regards to:-                          \n\nBuckfastleigh Town Council raising the precept (which forms part of the total Council Tax for Buckfastleigh) from 2023/24 to fund a perennial grant application submitted by Victoria Park and Swimming Pool for £65\,000 per annum (including an annual inflationary increase) for a period of four years \n\nTo vote on the question which is to be put in the poll.
