A circular walk following the "bat trail" around Buckfastleigh. As the sun sets we will use bat detecting equipment to listen to bats and see greater horseshoe bats setting off for a night of hunting.
The Town Council is organising a summer celebration of the wonderful work done by the town's voluntary and community groups to be held in the Town Hall
Includes a variety of stalls, games, activities, BBQ, music, performances, our famous Duck Race along the River Mardle and the vintage vocal trio 'The Liberty Sisters'. If you are interested in helping out on the day or would like to book a stall contact Trefor Jones on 01364 643627.

To be held at 7 Hembury Park, Buckfast. Free entry with tea although donations would be welcome. Stalls for Africa goods, preserves, chutneys and garden plants plus a raffle. Funds help the Gambia Fellowship Association support young people at school, two medical projects and the only school in the country for children with special needs. […]
