DESCRIPTION:Once there was a girl whose hair could not be cut. Her mother tried scissors\, which only broke! Her father tried an axe. Same thing! But why? Why is she the only girl with magical hair? It takes a meeting with a wise old woman and many more adventures before she discovers what her hair is really for. \nRunning time 40 minutes. Ages 4+ \nStorytelling by Leo Sofer with music by Sundara Sofer. \nLeo started storytelling in 1989 and has given thousands of performances for children in schools all over England. He has created a website of stories for children\, Palace of Stories\, which features over 100 audio stories for children. \nSundara Sofer started playing music as a young child\, and plays accordion\, harmonium\, flutes and whistles. Her latest love is the Handpan\, a magical instrument that instantly transports its listeners into story land! Sundara and Leo have been playing music together since they met in 1999.

In it an idle young lad by the name of Jack lives alone with his aged mother and bemoans the tedium of a poor life. if only he were rich beyond belief… and so enters the Devil.  \nPerformed by James Richardson and Dave Oliver.
