Climate Emergency Public Meeting (Teignbridge District Council)

Teignbridge District Council (TDC) declared a Climate Emergency in April this year.  They are working with other councils on what this means and how Zero Carbon can be implemented by 2025 for the whole of Teignbridge.

An action group representing different environmental organisations in Teignbridge has met up with TDC.  We want to see how best the wider community can get involved in supporting the Council.  This can range from directly feeding into their plans, to taking local or individual action on addressing the Climate Emergency.

Everyone’s involvement is key to achieving this ambitious target.

You are invited to a public meeting on Thursday July 4th, 7-9 pm, at Coombeshead Academy in Newton Abbot, where you can find out more about this and how you can be involved.  Please bring your ideas and questions, we hope to address as many of these as possible.

Join Cllr Jackie Hook and other speakers to find out how we can work together.

Please bring your ideas. All welcome!

Light refreshments. Parking available.
