Engaging our Community

There are lots of great things going on in our community and people working hard to make them happen, but we don’t always know the half of it. There are also lots of things I’m sure we would like to see happening, but wouldn’t know where to start on our own…

Join us, the Town Council for our second informal ‘Engaging the Community’ event – a chance to find out more about what’s going on in the parish and have an opportunity to be a part of it. Hear how your money is being spent and what plans are afoot. Find out what different groups and projects are doing around town and decide if you want to get involved –  or bring your idea and get support to make it happen.

If you live locally and have something to offer, or want to be more involved with the many exciting and vital activities and opportunities around town, or would just like to know more about what is going on, then come along – There will be cake and conversation and a promise that this will not be like any other ‘meeting’ you might have been to before!
