Whitecleave Quarry Bat Evening

An invitation to a bat evening in the quarry. Ecologists will be carrying out bat surveys (weather permitting) using specialist equipment to record the commute of approx 400 bats through the site.
In addition Lizzie Platt, an experience Licensed Bat Handler, will have a live bat to show you and talk about bats in general.

Please leave cars at home or park in the town car park and walk to the site as access will be restricted. Wear appropriate footwear for uneven terrain. All children must be accompanied by an adult and stay with them at all times.
