NOTICE OF VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, that a vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for the above named parish.
If within fourteen working days after the date of this notice a request to fill the vacancy by election is made in writing to the Proper Officer, Forde House, Brunel Road, Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ12 4XX by TEN local government electors for the said Parish then an election will be held to fill the vacancy, otherwise the Town Council will take steps to fill the vacancy by co-option.
