A number of different organisations and businesses are making plans to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this June. In order to ensure that events do not clash with each other and that everyone is aware of what others are doing, the Town Council is organising an informal meeting on Monday 21st February at 7.00 pm in the Town Hall. The information will then be collated by the Town Clerk with a view to producing a flyer listing all the Jubilee events.
There will also be discussion of how the Town Council may be able to help with regards to possible funding and volunteers for these events.
