Buckfast and Buckfastleigh have once again achieved great success in the RHS Britain in Bloom Southwest Awards.
Three categories were entered: It’s Your Neighbourhood; Business, Leisure and Commercial; and Small Town Pennant Competition. They were assessed on horticultural expertise, community involvement and care of the environment which includes heritage and how the town is represented.
The crowning achievement was winning the Gold Pennant Award in the Small Town category. Congratulations and great credit must be given to all involved. The full results are as follows:
