We are pleased to announce that Cllr Sue Clarke was again appointed as Town Mayor and Chair at the Annual Town Council Meeting with Erin Kohler-Ockmore as her Deputy.
Members also agreed to reinstate the Tourism and Recreation Committee which is open to all Buckfastleigh businesses and organisations with the first meeting to be scheduled for June.
Representatives of Participate Arts gave an interesting and informative presentation about how Town Council grants over the past 6 years have helped to support the wide variety of arts and wellbeing activities which have been available to our young people and to support adults during Covid.
Preparations for the Jubilee weekend are ongoing. The posters and flyers sponsored by the Town Council are now out for delivery.
