Huw Cox – Councillor John Nutley led a minute’s silence in memory of our Chair and Town Mayor, Councillor Huw Cox, who sadly passed away on 14th January 2024. Town councillors and members of the public had the opportunity to reflect on our memories of Huw and the messages of condolence that we have received.
Huw was a dedicated member of our community tirelessly serving both the Town Council, Teignbridge District Council and various organisations and groups in the town. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Following the untimely loss of Huw Councillor Sue Clarke was appointed Chair and Town Mayor with Councillor Paul Georghiades as Deputy Chair.
